FOOD & BEVERAGE EXPERIENCE CURATORCindy Pao specializes in handmade, organic Taiwanese comfort foods. She was born in a small fish village in Taiwan, and learned to cook from her mother, grandmother, and aunties - all who are adventurous foodies. She moved to the United States at 16 years old, and continued her culinary explorations. Her cooking is based in traditional and fresh flavors, and a whole lot of hustle.
Cindy became the accidental chef and co-owner of Bling Bling Dumpling in April of 2011. Cindy and her business partner, Anne, started hosting dumpling-making-parties with friends after a trip home from Taiwan left them craving fresh street foods and community. Bling Bling Dumpling delivers the love across California and Nevada at food, music, and art festivals. Cindy left Bling Bling Dumpling in 2021 to pursue new food adventures. Cindy currently is the Chef de Partie at State Bird Provisions in San Francisco. She occasionally hosts dumpling workshops and small catering gigs, and is always up to a new challenge! |
